Here's a sneak peek at my maternity pics. I think this one might just be my favorite! I've got some other projects I'm working on, but I can't wait to get the rest of these edited and shared!!

Hi,
It's me.
I'm still around.
Just haven't had anything blogworthy to post lately. Been too busy/tired/stressed/in pain. But overall life is still pretty good. We're getting through it.
Just thought I'd take a sec to share these amazing pictures that don't have much to do with me (other than being the lucky one to take them, so I get bragging rights).

I Heart Faces Beach Fun Challenge
You all know how much I love the beach! I always say that Utah would be the perfect place to live, if only we had an ocean....I tell Luke quite often that I don't care where we live when we settle down, as long as there's a beach nearby. That's my only prerequisite...well, the most important one anyway :)
Anyway, over at I Heart Faces, they're having a Beach Fun contest. Of course I've got to join in!
Here's my favorite picture of Luke having fun at the beach! We were visiting the Oregon Coast after flying out for my little bro's graduation, and we happened to be there the weekend of the sand castle competition! Some totally awesome creations there! Great photo op!

Visit I Heart Faces to check out everyone else's beachy pics!!
More pics of our Oregon trip (and more sand castle creations) can be found here.

Alexis Newborn Pics
Baby Alexis was only a week old when I took these photos! She is adorable! But she did not like posing for the camera. The shoot took almost 3 hours, with lots of time outs (plus an hour of me being lost). I learned a lot about newborn photography. Thanks Michelle for such a great opportunity.
Enjoy!

Enjoy!

The C Family Photo Shoot
Hannah and I work together, and I have taken pictures for her family before, when her brother Isaac got married. Mama and Papa C were in town for awhile, and we decided to do an impromptu photo shoot.
I love working with this family. They are so much fun, and they're so goofy! I threw in a few of the candid shots at the end.
The lighting was a little tricky, and things would have been easier had I brought my tripod, but I made it work, and we got some great pictures!

Second Shooter
You know Jessie, who shot our family pics. Well, she invited me to tag along with her to a wedding as a second shot. It was my first real chance to try out my new camera and gear. It was a learning experience, but overall, it was a lot of fun. The wedding was at Noah's in AF, and that place is cool! My favorite part was going up to the balcony overlooking the hall. Got some great shots there.
Here are a few of my faves:

The little flower girl was a doll! I loved her outfit!

I loved their cake! It was beautiful!

This has to be one of my favorite pictures I've ever taken! I don't know why, but I love it :)

Photographing the photographer

This guy was so excited for the chocolate fountain. He was eyeing it all night.
